“Malfroy Lodge - Recommended”
The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was a major plus. We were provided with maps and information on the best places to see and the best eating places. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the mineral pool which was open all hours and the peace and quiet at the Lodge made our stay very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was wonderful with a plentiful supply of hot water. The rooms were spacious and we felt at home as we arrived back at the end of a busy day. We liked being close enough to the shopping centre to enable us to walk there.

Spent 2 nights here in the southern suburb of Rotorua. Convenient for central attractions e.g. Kairua park and government gardens - both free and worth seeing. The park full of steaming pools and bubbling mud for free!
Rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped and pretty quiet at night. Hot mineral pool (41C) and cooling pool (34C) were a good way to ease the muscles b4 dinner after a busy day. Ron the owner is v friendly and gave useful tips esp re visiting Waiotapu thermal park.
